We are thrilled to announce that CHESS KLUB Ananth Nagar was honored with the Best Academy Award at the prestigious Junior Chess Masters 2026 – All India Open FIDE Rated Rapid Chess Tournament. Held on February 15th at Velammal Vidyalaya, Bangalore, the event was organized by the Bangalore Urban District Chess Association (BUDCA).
This top honor was awarded to our center for achieving the highest student participation and the highest total team score in the competition. With a dedicated squad of 9 students, our team amassed an impressive 33.5 total points.
We also celebrate these standout individual performances:
- Shobhit Agilarasan: Secured 23rd Place in the Open Category (Prize: ₹2000).
- Aradhya Agilarasan: Secured 9th Place in the Under-07 Girls category.
