These CHESSKLUB prodigies put up a grand show at the Interschool Chess Competition at the Delhi World Public School and won the #3rd and #5th prizes respectively.

Our students excel within and beyond CHESSKLUB!

Our two wonder kids - Vibha Vinod Pillai and Shivaraj S outshined their own previous performances at the Widia Poornaprajana Interschool tournament and stood 7th and 3rd in their respective categories. Congratulations to these superstars!

The Universal School of Administration hosted a one of kind - Universal First Age Category Children Chess Tournament and the students of #CHESSKLUB Bangalore performed spectacularly:

-- Agastya R Biradar - won 2nd prize in U-7 boys section
-- Dhruvaditya Yellapu - won 5th prize in U-9 boys section
-- Vinayak Kathik - won 6th prize in U-11 boys section
-- Ahaan Pathak - won 5th prize in U-13 boys section
-- Laksh C Naik - won 13th prize in U-13 boys section
-- Shivaraj S - won 7th prize in U-15 boys section
-- Jayanth Prabakaran - won 8th prize in U-15 boys section

-- Gokul G - won 7th prize in U-19 boys section

Another proud moment for #CHESSKLUB in #Bengaluru - CONGRATULATIONS to Sarvesh Alegavi for winning the second prize at the BKCC Under-16 Chess Tournament with a brilliant score of 5 points out of 6 rounds.

We are proud to announce that our Co-founder - Archana Kolangara, has been honored with the prestigious Shakthi Award for "Women Making a Difference" in 2023. This accolade is a testament to Archana's remarkable career and recognizes her ‘Distinguished Career Achievement’ along with her impactful contributions to our community.

Shakthi is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a primary focus on empowering women within the South Asian community residing in Greater Charlotte, North Carolina. Their mission is to offer unwavering support by connecting women with essential resources, fostering an understanding of their fundamental rights, including civic duties, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Shakthi is deeply committed to organizing community awareness events, fundraising initiatives for noble causes, and collaborating with local women's organizations. Every year, they take great pride in acknowledging and celebrating women who have made a significant difference in various aspects of our community.

The award was presented at a distinguished event on October 7, 2023. Mrs. Jennifer Roberts, the former Mayor of Charlotte, bestowed this well-deserved honor upon Archana.

We at CHESS KLUB are immensely grateful for this honor and are overwhelmed with pride and joy. Thank you, Archana, for your outstanding contributions to the chess community the Charlotte community, and your commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of women in the South Asian community.

Your dedication and achievements have truly made a difference and inspire us all.

This year we were beyond honored to receive a Pride India Award for the “Best Coaching Academy of the Year.” This achievement added a special feather to our WING and helped us pave our path to be the number one organization on Google when one searches for a Chess academy in Bangalore.

Our student - Mohana Velagapudi, has made CHESS KLUB proud at the Sajjan Academy 1st Inter-Scool Chess Tournament in the Under-8 Girls Category.

She played 5 exceptionally competitive games and scored a fantastic score of 3 points, and secured the 6th position, making us at CHESS KLUB the happiest chess academy in the world!

Our Wonder child Ahaan Pathak brought pride and glory to team CHESS KLUB at the Interschool Chess Tournament held at DPS Bengaluru in the Under - 11 category!

Ahaan and his team won the runner-up trophy with a brilliant score of 3 points out of the 5 games held.

The 2023 National Elementary K-6 Championship at Baltimore, MD, was a special event for us.

Our students Jethin Bastian, Murali Kongot and Imron Sukhratov gave us all at CHESS KLUB a BIG reason to smile.

Their performance at their first National level tournament was beyond outstanding. Jethin secured the 3rd place in the Blitz section while Murali scored a splendid 5 points across the 7 rounds he played in the Under - 500 category and Imron scored a brilliant 3.5 points out of 5 in his category.

Kudos to them and a hearty congratulations to their proud parents!!!

Congratulations to our wonder kid Nishka for making Team CHESSKLUB proud at the Calgary Junior Chess Championship- Back to School Tournament with a brilliant score of 3 points. To make things more exciting, she won the Top Girl award in the Beginner Section.
