- Friday 12/29: Endings featuring Rook and Pawn
- Saturday 12/30: Merge with Scholastic Championship

- Star is Born for new players
- Chess Express for players under 1000
- Deep Thinkers longer games with bigger prizes

Come join us for four days of fun and learning!
Our focus for the winter camp will be on calculation – a crucial part of chess.
On Wednesday, we will examine opening tricks and traps. Thursday, we will look at
some remarkable middlegame combinations and swindles. Friday, we will take a deeper look at chess endgames. Saturday, we will cap it all off with our Scholastic
Championship!
Throughout the camp, we will have contests and games as well as instruction. We will accommodate all levels of players in the camp and the final tournament.
